Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park
When the day in San Francisco we had reserved for photography became overcast and misty, we decided to visit the Conservatory in Golden Gate Park.

Erected in 1879 from a kit shipped in crates, it is the oldest existing public conservatory in the Western Hemisphere and is a spectacular living museum of rare and beautiful tropical plants.
